'Wow' your guests with homemade chicken taquitos. These taquitos are filled with chicken, cheese and salsa.
2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
1/2 cup shredded queso Chihuahua or queso quesadilla
1 cup HERDEZ® Chipotle Salsa Cremosa
6 HERDEZ® Corn Tortillas
1⁄2 cup sour cream
1⁄2 cup pico de gallo
Vegetable oil, for frying
In medium bowl, stir together chicken, cheese, and salsa. Mix well.
Spoon chicken mixture evenly down center of each tortilla.
Tightly roll tortilla around filling; secure each with toothpick.
In large skillet, heat 2 inches oil over medium-high heat until 360°F. Fry tortillas, 3 at a time, until crisp and golden brown. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Drain on paper towels; remove toothpicks.
