Chipotle Chicken Taquitos

'Wow' your guests with homemade chicken taquitos. These baked taquitos are filled with chicken, cheese and salsa.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
  • 1 cup HERDEZ® Chipotle Salsa Cremosa
  • 6 HERDEZ® Corn Tortillas
  • 1⁄2 cup sour cream
  • 1⁄2 cup pico de gallo
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Toothpicks

Directions

  • In medium bowl, stir together chicken, cheese, and salsa. Mix well.
  • Spoon chicken mixture evenly down center of each tortilla.
  • Tightly roll tortilla around filling; secure each with toothpick.
  • In large skillet, hear 2 inches oil over medium-high hear until 360°F. Fry tortillas, 3 at a time,
    until crisp and golden brown. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Drain on paper towels; Remove
    toothpicks.
  • Garnish with sour cream and pico de gallo.
