Grilled Queso with LA VICTORIA® Salsa

Enjoy with chips for the perfect queso appectize, pour over grilled chicken breast or top your burger for an amazing new cheeseburger experience.

    ½ pound ground beef
    ½ teaspoon chili powder
    ½ teaspoon cumin
    Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    1 (8-ounce) package pasteurized cheese product, cubed
    ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 cup LA VICTORIA® Thick ‘N Chunky Salsa
    ½ cup chopped onion
    2 chopped jalapeño peppers
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves


    1. Prepare grill for medium-high heat. Heat medium cast-iron skillet on grill. Add ground beef, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, to taste. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until browned. Move skillet to indirect heat on grill.
    2. Add cheeses, salsa, onions, and jalapeño peppers to skillet.
    3. Cover grill. Grill 6 to 8 minutes or until cheeses are melted.
    4. Stir dip to combine. Serve hot garnished with cilantro.
