Grilled Queso with LA VICTORIA® Salsa

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (8-ounce) package pasteurized cheese product, cubed
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup LA VICTORIA® Thick ‘n Chunky Salsa
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 chopped jalapeño peppers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves


  1. Prepare grill for medium-high heat. Heat medium cast-iron skillet on grill. Add ground beef, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper, to taste. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until browned. Move skillet to indirect heat on grill.
  2. Add cheeses, salsa, onions, and jalapeño peppers to skillet.
  3. Cover grill. Grill 6 to 8 minutes or until cheeses are melted.
  4. Stir dip to combine. Serve hot garnished with cilantro.
