Mexican Rice with Salsa and Green Chiles

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar CHI-CHI’S® Chipotle Fiesta Salsa
  • 3 tablespoons CHI-CHI’S® Green Chili Peppers
  • 1 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  • Rinse rice thoroughly.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, combine rice, salsa, chilis, water and salt.
  • Bring to a boil, then lower heat to low, cover and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is fluffy.
  • Add additional salt to taste if necessary and garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions.
